Founded in 1991, UMEX SA is a port operator which operates in the center of the Port of Constanta. The company’s terminal facilitates an easy connection with the railway-port system and the national road network. With Umex’s facilities, over 1500000 tons of wares are moved each year, such as: bulk cereals, metal products, oversized goods, etc. The terminal spans an area of 140000 square meters, the ships being operated by UMEX with the help of 5 operative berths. The company’s turnover is situated at over 44 million RON.
