Marbeto optimized its business with integrated systems from Senior Software

One of the top suppliers for the meat industry in western Romania, Marbeto, has made its activity more efficient with the help of high-performance business management software systems from Senior Software. The company has gained better management of its supply, inventory and sales processes and has access to accurate data that is updated in real time, with the help of which it makes the right business decisions.

With a turnover of around 32 million euros, Marbeto, an important distributor of frozen products, gained control and visibility over its business, with ERP and BI systems from Senior Software. The company from Arad (Romania) obtained numerous benefits thanks to the implemented solutions’ advanced capabilities, the connection between them, and the integration between ERP and a system used by one of its business partners.

Marbeto provides raw materials to producers and distributors of meat and meat products throughout the country. The company has multiple controlled-temperature warehouses and a constant stock of approximately 1 000 tons of frozen goods. In order to effectively manage all aspects of its business, 4 years ago, the distributor replaced the old solutions with SeniorERP – ERP software for resource management and SeniorVisualBI – BI software for analysis and reporting, from Senior Software.

Prior to our partnership with Senior Software, accounting records, logistics activity, as well as sales and receipts were kept in three different programs. The meat distributor’s ERP software is integrated with the WMS system implemented by Marbeto’s partner, namely Frigo HM, a 3PL logistics service provider. Marbeto stores part of its goods in Frigo HM’s storage spaces, and as a result of the integration between the two systems, customer orders are automatically communicated to WMS so they can be prepared for delivery. Afterwards, the picking confirmation is sent to SeniorERP, where sales documents are quickly prepared. Connecting the partner companies’ systems facilitates faster and more accurate order processing, ensuring the transparency of activities performed and improving business ties.

Marbeto started its activity in 2004 and specializes in the distribution of raw materials for the meat industry. The supplier has its own and rented storage spaces in Arad, Bucharest, Constanta and outside the country’s borders.
